Dear Soaring Hawk Families:

 

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! We are so excited to see our students and families back on campus. This year, our goal is to restore all educational and enrichment activities for our students and to reengage our family and community members.

 

Arlene Hein Elementary School provides rigorous, high-quality instruction along with social emotional support for our students. Our staff believes that we can all positively impact the achievement of each and every student. We provide specialized instruction during the school day to meet the individual needs of each student. Our school uses IXL Learning program to provide additional support in math and reading.

 

We want our students to have exciting enrichment opportunities! We will offer extended day classes and clubs including Hawk Academy, team sports, band, GATE, National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS), Newspaper, Zentangle, CREST, Club B.O.B. (Be Our Best) and more!

 

Arlene Hein has an active partnership between home, school and community. Along with our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), we are bringing back our annual events this year, including our Jog-a-Thon, Harvest Festival, Valentine’s Family Fun Night, Read-A-Thon and our Spring Carnival. We look forward to parent and community participation in these events to create special memories for our students.
